On the tablet front, Baker is thus far “struggling to find a clear need in the marketplace.” Historically, people either want a pocket-sized smartphone or they want something with a keyboard and large display for data entry. “We are not really bullish on the slates and tablets that are being announced because we’re struggling to see what need it is they’re fulfilling in the market,” Baker said.
