Anyone wishing to get rid of a pre-1989 car or motorcycle has less than a week left to sign up for the classic sale at this year’s CBA Africa Concours d’Elegance.

According to a statement from the event’s organisers, only 30 entries will be accepted for sale at the September 28 event, with registration closing on September 17. The vehicles will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, regardless of their condition.

“Entries already received for the sale include a 1960 Ford Anglia, a 1972 Peugeot 404 and a 1973 Alfa Romeo GT Junior,” they say.

“Owners of (unwanted) machines can enter them for the Classic Sale and drive or tow them to the Nairobi Racecourse for sale.”

The Classic Sale targets owners of unwanted cars and motorcycles made in 1989 or earlier who want to sell them to car enthusiasts. Entry forms are available on the Africa Concours d’Elegance website.
