Dozens of people are admitted in various hospitals in Nairobi with food poisoning following a catered dinner Friday at the Strathmore University.
Sources that spoke to Nairobi News put the number of those affected at 150.
According to a memo sent out by the university, most of those hospitalised are fourth year students who had attended seniors’ dinner on March 20 outsourced to an unnamed caterer.
The university didn't name the caterer, but says investigations are underway to determine the cause of the mass poisoning.
