Regional retailer Nakumatt Holdings has put a Denmark trip up for grabs for its loyal shoppers this Easter season in a Sh17 million customer reward programme.

The trip to the European destination is a grand prize for five families to experience an all-expense paid outing in the reward programme dubbed “Build Your Perfect Easter with Nakumatt and LEGO® brick”.

The programme is open for shoppers spending Sh2,000 or swiping their Nakumatt Global Prepaid Debit Cards at any of the retailer’s outlets countrywide and is being run in conjunction with global toy maker Lego Group and several local business partners.

“We are excited to present this customer rewards programme with a trip for five families to the world-acclaimed Hotel Legoland,” said Nakumatt Holdings regional strategy and operations director Thiagarajan Ramamurthy.

“This Easter campaign is also tailored as a joint thank you platform for Nakumatt and several local and international suppliers wishing to extend their gratitude to our loyal shoppers.”

Gift vouchers

Lego Group, the makers of the iconic LEGO® brick range of toys and a key supplier to Nakumatt’s Kids & Co Departmental store, will be at hand to host the winners of the grand prize.

To enter into the draw, there will be activations in Nakumatt branches countrywide where kids will get a chance to participate by playing with Lego toys, colouring and painting of pictures.

Several children’s challenges are also lined up at Nakumatt stores at Galleria, Westgate, Garden City, Mega, TRM, Prestige and Junction malls.
Shoppers, who spend more than Sh2,000 will also get blank pictures for their children to paint or colour at home.

The parents will then submit the images to respective Nakumatt branches to enter the draw for their children.

Mr Ramamurthy said the campaign has been generously supported by Nakumatt’s local and international suppliers, eager to deepen the local formal retail trade market.

Consolation and related instant prizes include Sh6 million worth of Nakumatt gift vouchers.

“In the spirit of Easter, the promotion is aimed at giving kids an opportunity to tap into their artistic talents, while standing a chance to win an assorted toys from Nakumatt’s Kids & Co departmental store,” he said.
