Five-star Nairobi hotel Ole Sereni is set to break ground next month for a new facility adjacent to the current one.

Speaking to the Business Daily, Ole Sereni’s general manager, Ghulam Samdani said that the new hotel would be located alongside the current one.

“We have been having small conferences and business meetings but have been losing out on bigger international meetings because most clients want their delegates under the same roof and previously we have been sharing some with neighbouring hotels, so we decided to expand,” he said.

Mr Samdani said they were looking to invest a minimum of Sh1.8 billion for construction of the hotel which will see it more than double its current capacity of 134 beds.
