The AfDB and OECD however warned that weather-related risks remained critical to the growth prospects of the country and urged for caution.
“Risks to robust recovery in 2010 abound. Given the significance of agriculture to the GDP and employment, any delay in the long or short rains will have severe economic and social consequences,” the organisations said.
The outlook said transparency in the governance of public institutions would also be critical to Kenya’s growth prospects this year.
