CMA pointed out that the merging of equity and government securities accounts would allow transactions of Treasury bills and bonds using mobile phones.

“The first stage of this process being the Treasury bills mobile direct project under development by the Treasury, Central Bank of Kenya and the World Bank,” said Mrs Kilonzo.
