The author wrote, “Ushahidi represents a new frontier of innovation”.
And what is interesting is that there are lots of other countries using technologies like those from Ushahidi and from Kenya to solve real world problems.
To me this is what makes the difference; need-based innovative home-grown solutions have come of age.
Is Kenya likely to be the next Silicon Valley? Or, the top 10 ICT hub globally as envisioned by the ICT Board?
