Former President Mwai Kibaki has been discharged from a Johannesburg hospital where he was admitted on 21 August 2016, the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) has said.
Quoting the family members of Mr Kibaki, PSCU said he is in jovial and high spirits.
Mr Kibaki will continue to recuperate for a few more days before returning home.
