  • They will however give no verdict on whether or not the alleged bribe was given.

The tribunal investigating allegations into misconduct of former Supreme Court Judge Philip Tunoi in an election petition has concluded its probe.

The Sharad Rao-led commission on Monday ruled that it could not continue with the inquiry as Mr Tunoi was no longer a judicial officer following his retirement.

The tribunal was put in limbo following the decision by three Supreme Court judges to disqualify themselves from hearing a petition on the retirement age of judges.

It is expected to present its findings to President Uhuru Kenyatta based on the evidence collected so far.

They will however give no verdict on whether or not the alleged bribe was given.
