#PizzaFest16 has had us all on a pizza diet for the past five days. Not that we are complaining, one can never have too much pizza. With three days left, make sure you take advantage of this great offer and visit as many restaurants as possible to indulge in all the pizzas on offer.

This year there are over 30 participating restaurants and you stand a chance to a win a trip for two to Medina Palms for a three nights stay with round trip flights. All you have to do is take a photo of yourself enjoying the Nairobi Pizza Festival, post it on Instagram and tag the photo. What better way to unwind from a week-long pizza overload than with a well-deserved holiday at the serene Medina Palms.

If you’re looking for a place to grab a slice, here are the participating restaurants:

Artcaffe: Located in various malls across Nairobi, there’s always bound to be an Artcaffe near you. Artcaffe branches are always bright with a fresh, modern and cosy environment. They are known for serving the best roasted coffees, tea, hearty dishes and a wide selection of desserts, pastries and signature cocktails at affordable rates. They have a wide variety of thin crust pizzas from vegetarian to meaty options, each pizza is delicious.

All guests are sure to feel at home with family and friends as they dine.

Cafe Vienna: The welcoming smell of Dr Oetker pizzas wafts through the air in the fashionable, European, modern-rustic Cafe Vienna situated next to Nakumatt Ukay’s entrance. Cafe Vienna offers a variety of toppings on the Dr Oetker pizzas, with cheese over sweet and tangy pizza sauce placed on a wonderfully thin crust. Truly, once bitten forever smitten!

La Dolce Vita: Oozing with easy charm and beautifully light ambiance, La Dolce Vita has always been a favourite with the Italian community in Nairobi. The Margherita pizza is arguably one of the best in town. Come here for dinner with a loved one for a special night over a glass of ruby red full-bodied Italian wine.

Lucca at the Villa Rosa Kempinski: Lucca is a great restaurant for Italian food lovers. They have a delicious selection of pastas and pizzas, lovingly prepared by their passionate Chef De Cuisine, Pietro Lunghi. A selection of authentic, freshly prepared pizzas are on offer including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This offer is valid everyday of the Nairobi Pizza Festival, except Sunday.

Pizza Mojo: Owned by the popular Big Square franchise, the Pizza Mojo menu promises to serve up some of the best pizzas in this city. Head to the Pizza Mojo at The Oval or Karen Square to indulge in a deliciously warm slice of pizza. We highly recommend that you try their specialty: the beef ribs pizza. It is made using Big Squares signature sweet, tangy and juicy ribs, and you can bet it’s delicious!

Purdy Arms: A British inspired family-friendly sports bar, restaurant, bed and breakfast establishment set on a 23 acre property that beautifully blends quirky with classy. Activities include; paintballing, archery, face painting, wall climbing, team building, weddings and birthdays. With a continental and Indian menu, head here for pizzas with your family and a day in the sun.

Thorn Tree at Sarova Stanley: The name of this bistro-style cafe comes from an acacia tree located at its centre, one which acted as a post box of sorts for travellers who would leave their mail pinned to the bottom of its trunk. Pop into their deli counter before settling down to fresh juices, a wide range of coffee and pizzas from their wood-fire oven.

Upendo Pizza: Upendo Pizza takes roots from Upendo Hero, a character from Vincenzo Cavallo’s 2011 documentary “Twende Berlin”. Cavallo and Maria Grazia Pellegrino, both artists and foodies, are the owners of Nairobi’s pizzeria, bringing people together and spreading love with authentic artisan pizzas, paired with full bodied wines, in a friendly and creative location.
