Get into that giving mindset to attract the success you desire

What you need to know:

  • Exercise patience with your higher side. Prepare for some deep introspection as you do this.

I spent quite a few years - perhaps even decades wandering around life repeatedly chanting “I want to be successful, but I don’t know how or where to start!”.

I knew I wanted to be in charge - become a manager, director, CEO or venture into entrepreneurship. I attempted many things. Some of these only raised me a few points above failure, but none could have been described as successful.

Sadly, success became more elusive with each attempt because I didn’t really have a good idea of that something that I continually chased. I consider myself lucky to have come out of this wild goose chase still of sound mind and thankfully a little wiser.

I have learned to approach things quite differently - not in the way I previously did. My many failed attempts remind me of what hasn’t worked in the past. I often find that my new and improved approach is the complete opposite of the previous directions I took.

I eventually figured out that chasing wild geese naturally caused them to run away from me. I started to focus on attracting success by operating on a giving mindset instead.

Giving my best skills, my best experience, my best thoughts and engagement... and I do this as standard operating procedure no matter what I’m involved in.

I wasn’t exactly conscious of it, but as I did this, I invoked the natural law of vibration which inevitably magnetised the people, circumstances and results that I wanted. I do the giving and the universe takes care of the getting side of things for me.

I’m referring to a very old, tried, tested and proved-to-work concept here. When we acquire wisdom and commit to greater service rather than perpetual success-chasing, we simply become invaluable to the people, things and situations in our lives. Our value comes back to us in cash or in kind like a boomerang.

This is the immutable law of attraction. With greater self-awareness, we gain the confidence to determine our worth. This is when we truly begin to realise and enjoy abundant remuneration for the value that we provide. Because the value we bring emanates from our limitless minds, our remuneration is proportionately unlimited.

If you’re in doubt about this, ask yourself the all-important question; “How can I provide greater value to benefit more people more frequently?”

Some of the greatest advances you will enjoy in your personal and professional life will come as a result of asking yourself this question whenever you get the urge to go chasing rather than attracting genuine friendships, greater cooperation from your colleagues, a better relationship with your supervisor, a promotion, the love of your life... keep going with this list. The concept is universal.

Do not be too concerned if no specific answer comes to mind right now. Strangely to many, you will seldom have a ready well-crafted response to “How can I provide greater value to benefit more people more frequently?”.

Exercise patience with your higher side. Prepare for some deep introspection as you do this. The right response uniquely for you will come ever so steadily.
