Managing director of Kenya Bureau of Standards (Kebs) Charles Ongwae’s tenure at the State agency has been renewed for a second and final term.
Mr Ongwae joined Kebs in 2014 from Barclays Bank Uganda where he was MD.
“When I joined, Kebs was known for many issues especially in procurement. This has since changed. We are a very transparent institution. I believe that is why my contract has been renewed,” Mr Ongwae told the Business Daily in an interview.
