Nigerian arrested with narcotics at JKIA

A Nigerian national was arrested at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with narcotics suspected to be cocaine.

The man was on transit to Nigeria from Sao Paolo, Brazil, when he was arrested on Saturday evening.

The head of criminal investigations at JKIA, Mr Joseph Ngisa, said the 30-year-old man had concealed the drugs in a laptop bag. Mr Ngisa said the drugs would be tested and weighed Monday.
