Portland Cement in sponsorship deal with Homes Expo

East Africa Portland Cement Company #ticker:PORT has inked a two year sponsorship deal with Kenya Homes Expo worth Sh20 million.

The chief executive Simon Peter ole Nkeri said their continued support to East Africa’s biggest exhibition was an opportunity for Kenyans to engage real estate dealers, housing developers, building contractors as well as building and construction material suppliers.

He said the listed cement maker’s six-year involvement had informed their decision to use this year’s event which starts on April 27 to April 30 to showcase their newly introduced products targeting the middle and low-income markets.

“EAPCC greatly affirms the industry platform (Kenya Homes Expo) as a worthy product for millions of Kenyans looking to invest in real estate,” said EAPCC which is this year’s title sponsor for the four day “Blue Triangle Cement Kenya Homes Expo”.

Speaking after the ceremony, Kenya Homes Expo founding Chief Executive Daniel Ojijo said real estate sector would continue growing with Nairobi’s satellite towns notably Kikuyu, Ruiru, Thika, Syokimau, Ngong, Ongata Rongai, Kitengela, Athi River, Mwiki and Komarock becoming the new real estate development hubs.
