Football was among the top internet searches last week overshadowing the Supreme Court ruling and other political events that have been on the lips of most Kenyans after the nullification of the presidential election.

English Premier League topped local internet searches, according to Google, with Carabao Cup game played by Arsenal versus Doncaster being the second most popular item online.

Kim Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner came in third after news about her pregnancy broke in the internet worldwide.

Theories, memes about Ms Jenner’s pregnancy, news about latest addition to the reality show clan and other events leading to the exposé of her pregnancy drove the 20-year old to the list of top most searched items in Kenya.

Supreme Court Ruling, Chief Justice Maraga and Justice Njoki Ndung’u emerged fourth, fifth and sixth most searched items locally, respectively.

Kenyans also kept tabs on the entertainment scene gossip by searching about Diamond Platinumz’s wife Zari Hassan in the wake of her husband’s extra marital affair with Hamisa Mobetto.
