An online and offline retailer, Hotpoint Appliances, has opened a store at the Village Market’s newly opened wing.

The electronics company had earlier announced a plan to open its doors for customers in the area, targeting dwellers of the Runda suburbs and its environs such as Ruaka, with a range of electronics and home appliances.

The store will have deals on refrigerators, smart TVs, cookers among other appliances.

“We are proud to announce that Hotpoint Kenya has now opened a new store at Village Market – New Wing,” said the retailer.

“Be sure to check out our new store for some crazy deals on Fridges, LED TVs, cookers and other appliances of top brands such as Samsung, Bosch, LG, Von & many more.”

The Hotpoint Appliances Ltd was established in 1984 with its first store located at the Sarit Centre shopping mall.

It acts as a local agent and distributor to a number of global brands including LG Electronics, Ariston, Westpoint and Kenwood.

They are among a few retailers in the country such as Chandarana that have both online and offline presence to capture the growing digital class that has an appetite for ease and convenience, especially with the growing use of the internet.

The new Village Market store brings to five the number of offline Hotpoint stores in the country. The company has two stores in Mombasa and now three in Nairobi.

“Through strong supplier partnerships, we expect to provide customers with quality products featuring the latest technology, while offering unparalleled after-sales service.”
