Global IT software giant, Oracle has introduced a new cloud software for small and medium-sized enterprises in Kenya.

Applications senior sales director Serge Blockmans said the upgraded Oracle Cloud Applications Release 13 aims to transform critical business functions such as customer experience, finance, HR management, and supply chains, enabling firms to make data-based decisions for higher productivity and efficiency.

Speaking during the Modern Business Forum in Nairobi, the Oracle director said the new release would help fast-track adoption of digital technologies at the workplace.

“The new Oracle cloud applications help companies create intelligent, connected and customer-centric service offerings,” said Mr Blockmans, adding that Oracle would offer businesses in-house training on how to utilise technology innovations such the cloud, advanced analytics and the Internet of Things.
