Safaricom #ticker:SCOM will host its final edition of this year’s Blaze ‘Be Your Own Boss’ (BYOB) youth summit tomorrow at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi.
A key highlight of the forum will be the national auditions for the Blaze BYOB show, a reality show that feature young people with the intention of promoting entrepreneurship.
Auditions will take place today, a day before the summit at University of Nairobi’s Main Campus.
“The first season of Blaze which kicked off last year was fantastic. We are even happier to see the increased number of Blazers who have benefited from the mentorship summits and boot camps. It’s been a great learning experience,” said Safaricom director of consumer business Sylvia Mulinge.
Over 36,000 youth have attended past camps and summits that have happened in in Eldoret, Meru, Nakuru, Machakos and Mombasa.
