Think Business Limited, organisers of an investment awards fete, has kicked off the ninth search for most innovative companies in Kenya.
The organisers have started accepting entries for the competition whose winners will be unveiled at a gala dinner on November 23.
Company evaluation performance will be done in four sub industry categories namely capital markets, pension schemes, collective investment schemes and the fund/investment managers.
Think Business Limited, a financial sector data and information house, is supported by the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) and Kenya Association of Stockbrokers and Investment Banks (KASIB).
“The awards strategic objective is to recognise and reward outstanding performance of companies as reflected in their audited financial statements,” said the firm in a statement.
The awards are further intended to shine a spotlight on companies that have greatly contributed to the growth of the sector through technological innovations, good corporate governance and social impact.
Other aspects that the panel will be looking at are the company’s sustainability, customer service and investment in stakeholder education.
Last year’s gala recognised Dyer and Blair Chairman Jimnah Mbaru for his long service and contribution to the industry.
