The Tourism Finance Corporation (TFC) is set to introduce business advisory services for investors in the tourism industry.

TFC managing director Jonah Orumoi said this will help local investors get technical advisory services on available investment opportunities in the industry.

He said that the services will be sector-driven with the aim of helping investors achieve their development projects.

Mr Orumoi said services on offer to investors include research and feasibility studies.

The corporation, he added, will advise on desk, field and market research, data acquisition and analysis for potential projects.

Investment advisory services include financial modelling, valuation, financial structuring, transaction, investor search, mergers and acquisition search and corporate structuring for customers.

On project management, the corporation will advise on project planning, oversight, risk mitigation, performance management and reporting to implement projects and investments for customers.

On buyer and investor search, the TFC will identify and secure potential buyers of properties and acquisition targets and investors for tourism projects and investments in the country.

“The Corporation plans to offer  business advisory services to the private sector at competitive prices for them to rise to challenges and leverage on the investment opportunities,” he said.

Recently, TFC entered into partnership with the UN-Habitat on the establishment of energy-efficient methods for the hospitality industry.
