Ecobank Kenya has signed up over 2,000 businesses as merchants on its Masterpass QR, a new electronic payment option that allows customers to pay for goods and services from their mobile phones.

Ecobank mobile app enables customers to send and receive money instantly across 33 African countries.
Existing and new customers can also use the app to open a free digital account, the Ecobank Xpress.
