First Community Bank (FCB) is set to shift its headquarters from Prudential Assurance Building on Wabera Street, Nairobi to the new Sh1.3 billion FCB Mihrab Towers at the junction of Lenana and Kilimani Ring Roads next week.

Founding director and chairman of Shariah-compliant lender Hassan Varvani said relocation to the 25-storey building is in line with the banks expansion plan.

“As part of our growth strategy, shifting from the central business district is in line with our expansion strategy as we seek to integrate and unify all our businesses under one brand to afford our clients convenience,” he said.

“FCB Mihrab will change the skyline of Nairobi and set precedence for the architecture of the country through creating a corporate haven for clients.”

The new building has a total usage area of about 193,000 square feet comprising four ground and mezzanine levels of smaller office suites suitable for service-based and delivery channel outlets.

The tower also has 17 middle and upper levels of flexible office suites starting from Sh13,950 a month.

Morphosis architects and Beck Consulting were involved in the design and project management of the building respectively.

The building has been fitted with four high-speed lifts all connected to the BMS system for monitoring.

Tenants will enjoy ample parking with more than 500 reserved bays.
