Ms Ndambuki is an expert in public-private partnerships and has experience in relationship building with development partners, trade and investment support institutions as well as government institutions.
Ms Angela Ndambuki, a lawyer and former chief executive of the Performers Rights Society of Kenya (PRISK), has been appointed chief executive of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) for a period of three years.
Ms Ndambuki takes over the leadership mantle at a time when investors are keenly following developments in politics to see how Kenya, one of Africa’s leading investment destinations, goes through a prolonged electoral process.
“My role will focus on enhancing our image and growing the international investor portfolio,” said Ms Ndambuki.
“With the same energy, we shall focus on key advocacy issues affecting the business community to ensure a favourable climate for Kenyan companies and facilitate ease of doing business.”

She holds a Master of Laws Degree (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Nairobi.
