Lucca have a five-course dinner with a set menu for Sh5,000 per person and an additional Sh2,000 for free flow selected wine.

At Café Villa Rosa the international buffet will be on offer for Sh3,800 per person with an additional Sh2,000 per person to include free flow on selected wines.

December 25

Café Villa Rosa will host a Christmas Day brunch for Sh5,000 per person including non-alcoholic beverages and an additional Sh2,000 for free flow sparkling wine.

88, Lucca and Tambourin have an all-you-can eat package for Sh5,000 per person. Children under 12 pay 50 per cent of the prices.

Tribe Hotel

Gigiri, off Limuru Road

A Christmas menu of bottomless eggnog, roasted beef, pumpkin pie, roasted turkey, stuffing, fruit cake, fish, cranberry sauce, pecan pie, Christmas pudding and other festive delights will be on offer at the Tribe’s Christmas Brunch for Sh5,500 per person. Children under 12 will pay Sh2,750.

Mediterraneo Restaurants

Mediterraneo Restaurants will be having a festive Chef’s Specials Christmas menu selected by chef Dario. The menu will be available in all branches from the 25th to 27th.

The menu will include baked aubergine timbale to whet your appetite, followed by a Christmas roasted turkey served with wild berry sauce, spicy pork sausage and crispy bacon. Finish the evening off with a slice of Italy’s famous Panettone cake and a glass of Sicilian Sweet Late Harvest wine.

The upmarket Portuguese restaurant is offering free fruit cake for every meal served during Christmas. Enjoy the warm ambiance as you sample its special menu that goes for Sh1,500. A typical menu includes vegetables, chicken, lamb, a variety of sea food and beef. A glass of juice is Sh300.

Woodvale Grove, Westlands

At the Artisan, for Sh5,500 per person, the Christmas Eve buffet will include a carving station and desserts as well as a welcome cocktail. On Christmas Day, a meal will be Sh6,000 for lunch or dinner buffet including a seafood bar. There will also be a carving station, desserts and activities to keep the children occupied as parents have an after-supper drink.

Sarabi and Champagne Bar will have drinks round the night with the Champagne Bar offering complimentary chocolate-dipped strawberries with each glass of champagne ordered.

Graze has a menu offering vegetarian, surf or turf options. For Sh7,500, the menu has a main course, dessert and coffee or tea to cap the night.

This Christmas, the lounge has three items on offer. First is its freshly brewed Samburu Ale, a signature craft beer that will be unveiled on December 25. It is 100 per cent malt and a 500ml mug retails at Sh250.

The second is a special family cocktail that can be served alcoholic or non-alcoholic for Sh1,000. If you buy two cocktails, you get the third one for free.

There will also be a buffet for Sh1,500. On the menu will be salads, meat varieties like pork, chicken and beef, with accompaniments such as potato and rice. The buffet will be a feast as the lounge usually serves Tapas, BBQs and fine a la carte dining.

Cold Stone Creamery
Cold Stone Creamery offers signature creations as well as options of a variety of milkshakes and ice cream cakes. The chain has three branches in Nairobi – Fortis Tower in Westlands, Mama Ngina Street in the city centre and a branch in Gigiri. If you are at the Coast, there is a branch at City Mall.

Cake City
Cake City has branches at Sarit Centre, Pride Inn in Westlands as well as TRM along Thika highway. It will be open over Christmas and Boxing days.

Planet Yoghurt
Planet Yoghurt is an option for those with an inclination towards sweet things without too much sugar. It is a healthier option to ice cream with the option of fresh cake toppings.

Mama’s Patisserie
Mama’s Patisserie gives you a taste of French desserts in Nairobi. Located at ABC Place, enjoy offerings at the eatery including a selection of macaroons, Danish and other pastries.

Tiramisu Bakery
Tiramisu Bakery at the Village Market is offering Christmas cake slices, cupcakes, mince pies, freshly baked Panettone, and classic cupcakes decorated with Christmas-themed toppers. Mince pies and gingerbread cookies are also available.

For nyama choma lovers, Njuguna’s Place is ideal this festive season. They serve a wide array of meat products including chicken, goat meat and beef.
