AIC Kijabe Mission Hospital has unveiled another satellite clinic in Nairobi in a bid to decentralise its services.
Dubbed Nairobi Medical Centre (NMC) on Azuri Towers, Westlands, the clinic will be the hospital’s third satellite centre aimed at decongesting their main facility in Kijabe, Kiambu County.
This comes after they opened the Marira clinic, located on the Nakuru-road and Naivasha medical centre 10 years ago.
“The hospital has been on a growth trajectory, having moved from a single building facility to become a 350-bed complex,” said the AIC Kijabe hospital chief executive, Dr Ken Muma.
“Kijabe hospital is making a contribution in meeting the needs of health care services through offering excellent medical care and training.”
He was speaking in Nairobi on Wednesday during the launch.
