Eye-wear seller Optica has opened a new branch in Eldoret, targeting clients with eyesight problems in Western Kenya region.

Optica offers eyesight testing services and stocks various eye-wear products including frames and lenses. The new branch at Eldoret’s Rupa Mall is its second in the town.

“Some of the eye sight problems are due to health lifestyles and our qualified optometrists and technicians will make use of the state of the art computerized testing equipment to prescribe precise contact lenses,” Wazeem Mohamed, Optica’s head of retail, said.

“Eyes are special organs and there is need to provide quality care by prescribing the right lenses.”

Mr Mohamed added that the company plans to further expand its services in the region. Optica, for instance, is slated to open a third branch in Eldoret at the upcoming Highlands Mall.
