A Nigeria-based logistics firm Courier Plus is set to officially launch its services in Kenya on Monday, with plans to enter other countries in the region under way.

The logistics and distribution services firm has a presence in more than 200 countries where it offers goods in transit insurance, delivery services, and packaging and air, road and sea freight services.

The firm is targeting various sectors including financial, mining, manufacturing, telecoms, pharmaceutical, tea and apparel industries with its services.

“We offer prompt and efficient deliveries, and our vast network across Kenya affords us the opportunity to pick up and deliver documents, parcels and heavy goods within stipulated timelines as agreed with our clients,” read a statement by the firm.

“Courier Plus provides these services through the combined skills of our team of experts, well trained staff aligned with our technology driven processes and a meticulously chosen and strategically located network of service centers across Kenya.”

The firm has already put in place machinery to carry out large-scale inland projects, for instance, those involving transportation of huge consignment of products and materials.
