Two real estate investors plan to put up 1,452 housing units in Nairobi’s Riruta Satellite.

Christopher Pasha will build two 12-storeyed residential apartments where one block will host 600 units and another 372 units on a two-acre plot.

Josephine Wanjiru, who owns 1.4 acres next to Mr Pasha’s land, will develop two eight-storey apartment blocks housing 480 units.

The two want Nairobi County authorities to hasten approvals.

Ms Wanjiru said her blocks will consist of four three-bedroom apartments, 16 two-bedroom apartments and 10 one-bedroom units per floor totalling 240 units per block.

“The roof-top will comprise solar panels and water heaters and tanks , while the ground floor will accommodate a parking bay with 156 slots as well as two generator rooms and eight lobby areas,” she said in disclosures to the National Environmental Management Authority (Nema).

Mr Pasha’s property will include 285 underground parking bays. The first 12 floors on the first block will consist of four three-bedroom apartments, 24 two-bedroom apartments and 22 one-bedroom apartments per floor.
