Sossion summoned for allegedly inciting N. Eastern teachers

Learning in schools in north eastern Kenya has been paralysed as teachers who are not from the region continue to stay away.
Police have summoned Kenya National Union of Teachers secretary general Wilson Sossion for allegedly inciting teachers working in North Eastern not to return to work over insecurity.
In a post on Twitter on Wednesday, Mr Sossion said he had been summoned to the CID headquarters.
“I am summoned to the CID over the NEP teachers. My statement is simple. Children of NEP deserve quality education from secure teachers,” he posted.
