Artcaffé opens new food store at Village Market
Artcaffé has opened a food market store at the Village Market shopping complex as it eyes growing its footprint amid an increasing middle class in Kenya.
The retailer said the addition reinforces its commitment to delivering dining and shopping experiences.
The Artcaffé Market incorporates a series of gourmet food stores offering a selection of artisanal and delicious food and lifestyle products.
The new unit joins the ranks of the other four main markets, offering a selection of products from around the world, butchery, crafted bakery, wholesome ready meals and a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, and a market cellar with a collection of wines and spirits.
Full-scale market
Artcaffé operates five full-scale market stores and four convenient mini-markets that are accessible to a wide range of customers.
The new store marks the fifth full-scale market store and becomes the ninth overall.
“Our mission has always been to provide our patrons with a wonderful world of discovery through food. This is coupled with quality and convenience,” Artcaffé Market general manager Sylvia Karimi says.
Affluent neighbourhood
The new branch is positioned to serve customers within the affluent Gigiri, Runda, Peponi, and Kitisuru.
It offers customers room to explore a wide range of products, including freshly baked goods, butchery, or a meal from the deli.
“Our latest outlet at the Village Market brings this full-service experience closer to shoppers within the local area. Our aim is to be within easy reach across the city,” added Ms Karimi. "There’s something for everyone.”
The location, she said, invites customers to a world of culinary delights and engaging events.
The Village Market branch also has a wine-tasting room with expert sommeliers and offers a seating for dining while shopping.
