Diversified retailer Car and General (C&G) says the improved performance of its boda-boda business has lifted the company from a two-year revenue slump that was previously linked to a weaker demand for motorcycles in the Kenyan market.

The company says in its latest annual report that its boda-boda business in Kenya resumed growth to a monthly average sales of 8,000 units per month in 2025 from 4,600 in 2024.
