Mumias appoints acting chief executive

Cash-strapped Mumias Sugar Company #ticker:MSC has appointed Josephat Asira as its acting chief executive.

Mr Asira, who is the chief factory operations officer, will hold the top job as the miller’s board searches for a replacement for outgoing CEO Errol Johnson who resigned last month.
