The 629 retired staff of Standard Chartered Bank Kenya will have to wait longer for the billions they won against their former employer, pending a dispute with their lawyer over legal fees.
High Court judge Moses Ado froze the disbursement of more than Sh7 billion on September 23, after the retirees’ lawyers --Wanyonyi Muhia Advocates -- sought an injunction pending the hearing and determination of their case.
