UK-based private power firm Globeleq will spend about Sh4.6 billion to set up a battery storage for its Malindi solar plant to supply electricity during peak demand.
The firm told the Business Daily that the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (Epra) is reviewing the project, following completion of the feasibility study last year.
