Turkana, West Pokot have lowest electricity uptake

Turkana, West Pokot and Homa Bay and are the least electrically connected counties compared to the capital Nairobi and its neighbour Kiambu.
A new survey from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) shows 91 percent of households in Turkana are not connected to the main electricity grid followed by 85.2 percent in West Pokot and 79.9 percent in Homa Bay.
