The African Development Bank (AfDB) has withdrawn its funding to the controversial Sh62.3 billion Thwake dam a day after Irrigation Principal Secretary Patrick Nduati Mwangi defied his boss Eugene Wamalwa and awarded the contract to the second-lowest evaluated bidder.
