Betting shops and casinos ordered shut in virus war

The Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) has shut down all betting shops and casinos to curb the spread of coronavirus in the latest hit on the embattled industry.

The ban took effect on March 23, 2020 and will be in force for an indefinite period.
