The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has automated registrations to the electronic tax invoice management system (eTIMs) eliminating a requirement for the taxman to manually approve the signups.
The taxman introduced eTIMs in 2023 in its attempt to block businesses from making expenses claims unsupported by actual receipts, sealing a revenue leakage loophole.
