Seven counties hold out as Treasury pushes for shift to digital tenders

National Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi is confident all counties will sign up to the digital procurement system, saying only seven devolved units were yet to migrate their operations onto the platform as of yesterday.

He did not name the seven non-compliant counties. He said that 30 counties had already joined the end-to-end electronic procurement platform, with 10 more awaiting approvals by the Controller of Budget.
