The beauty of cladding your exterior walls

The mix of natural stone shaped like jigsaw and plywood core makes the exterior walls of the house stand out. This is the house that designer Manmit Jabbal, director at Ikon Designs, has finished cladding, turning the exterior walls into a beautiful piece of art.

Wall cladding is not a new concept in Kenya; developers cover the brick walls with tiles, metal sheeting, natural stone or even timber. But the home Mr Jabbal has designed stands out with the use of recycled plywood core and natural stone padded on the exterior walls, giving the house a new look that blends with the personality of the owners.
