Automated cheque clearance trial in two weeks

Bankers are inching closer to launch of the central system that will fast-track cheque clearance with trial runs to start in two weeks.

Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) chief executive officer Habil Olaka said some institutions were ready for the shift while others were in the final stages of integrating their systems with the new technology.
