Kenyan investors will miss out on Africa’s biggest ever initial public offering (IPO) as Nigeria’s Dangote oil refinery listing is restricted to its domestic market.

Local investors had been expected to raise up to Sh64.8 billion ($500 million) of the Sh200.8 billion ($1.55 billion) IPO, which offers a three percent stake in Dangote’s refinery.
