Sacked Maasai Mara varsity deputy VC reinstated as don

Former Maasai Mara university Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof Misia Manuguti Kadenyi, who was sacked on allegations of organising student unrest to destabilise operations of the institution, has been reinstated by the Court of Appeal as a professor.

In declining to restore her as Deputy Vice Chancellor, academic, research and student affairs, the court noted that there was a hostile work environment for her due to her differences with the university’s vice chancellor Prof Mary Walingo.
