Teachers have a new representative to the board of the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) after a year of push-and-pull.

Health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki has appointed Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) Vice-Chairman Wycliffe Omucheyi to the board.
