The Kenyan shilling was steady against the dollar on Wednesday, near its recent resistance level against the dollar, amid uncertainty over repeat presidential election tentatively scheduled for October 17.
At 1049 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 103.25/45 per dollar, unchanged from Tuesday's close, and around its recent resistance level of 103.30/40.
Voters are expected to return to the polls before the end of October after the Supreme Court annulled an August 8 presidential election.
