County hospital executives set for Strathmore MBAs

Hospital administrators from all the counties are set to benefit from Masters in Business Administration courses offered by Strathmore School of Business (SBS) to equip them with management skills.

The programme — which aims to enable graduates implement new processes, organisational designs and leadership strategies — will run in short modules of half a day for about three months with lecturers from SBS visiting the Level Five hospitals at the counties.

The programme has received funding of up to Sh46 million from the Harvard School of Public Health to help generate a comprehensive curriculum.

“Business programme offerings are evolving over the years. The key factor to take our country to the next level is through offering executive programmes that are target specific,” said George Njenga, the dean at SBS.

“As an institution, our commitment is to coach more and more people in these sectors so that we transform our country.”
