Absa Bank Kenya has been dragged into a leadership and financial dispute at Nairobi’s century-old Vetlab Sports Club, with rival officials accusing the lender of illegally changing bank account signatories and exposing millions of shillings belonging to members to possible misuse.
Vetlab chairman Jared Ouko and honorary secretary Beatrice Kamau have sued the bank over changes made to the signatories of the club’s main account, which allegedly held Sh26 million as at May 8, 2026.
