Crown Paints Kenya will spend Sh141.24 million to construct a new emulsion paint binder factory and plastic injection moulding plant in Machakos County as it eyes cutting import costs and boosting local manufacturing.

The project will be located in the Lukenya area of Athi River and is expected to include modern godowns, production facilities and support infrastructure. The project will feature two main blocks—one housing the emulsion binder factory and the other a plastic injection moulding plant.
