The Office of the Auditor-General has flagged irregularities in the outsourcing of Sh1.8 billion printing services by the Kenya Literature Bureau (KLB) in the financial year ended June 30, 2025.
A latest audit report by Auditor-General Nancy Gathungu warned that the value of money may not have been realised in the KLB outsourced deal and pointed out anomalies in the tender which included the absence of a supporting market survey report, to accompany procurement requisitions as required by the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Regulations.
